Even though I’m not a part of this fandom for that long, I’ve come across some wonderful One Piece blogs. I just want to say that I love all of them, they’ll definetely make your dash much more beautiful, funny and entertaining, plus every single one of those blogs is run by fabulous and great people! OOC: So, personally I don’t really have any shipping preferences, or OTPs hehe. I do have my headcanons on each of the characters of course, that including their romantic/sexual feelings also, but all fanwork I see/read can be potentially awesome if it’s well done, whether it has shipping or gen in it… But the feeling of a warm fuzzy dysfunctional family the Strawhats give me in the canon is a must :) And I gotta admit I can be pretty picky, especially when reading fanfiction :D I do know many absolutely amazing fics though.

Some totally not coherent thoughts
OOC: Ahahahaa so well. What can I say… I am not dead? *Sigh*. I’m sorry y’all D:
Anyway, I gotta be honest now: I’ve been following One Piece for… About 5 years now?? So for a pretty long time. It is one of my absolutely favourite fictional stories in pretty much any media, for infinite number of reasons, the main one being all the FEELINGS I get every time I watch it, ranging from absolutely hysteric laughter to heart gripping sadness. The fandom even though not the largest one there is, feels for the most part pretty friendly and accepting, and is simply put pretty awesome! THAT being said, I gotta admit I’ve been pretty disappointed in some aspects of the story that have been getting more prominent lately… Oda is an awesome storyteller, there is no doubt of that, but well… There has always been some sexist stuff in OP (which is not the only problem in the series, but probably the biggest one atm, at least for me personally), and I’ve always known that, but for the most part I’ve been able to ignore it until recently. The criticism towards the series I’ve read especially here on Tumblr has been(for the most part) very appropriate and has made me think a lot lately. And I think that is very important. Anyway, sadly I haven’t been feeling that much for One Piece lately. Which does not mean I don’t like the series any more or something, it is and probably always will be absolutely fantastic in my mind! And there’s so many awesome things to wait even now, putting the manga aside there’s the new film coming and loads of other amazing stuff! But I gotta admit the series have been disappointing me a bit recently.
Ah, I’m sorry I’m not good at writing stuff like this, and I probably totally lost my point somewhere there… But anyway, the newest chapter was frickin awesome, kinda raising my hopes up once again(YOU GO GIRLS!!!), and I hope Punk Hazard has a lot of nice surprises yet to be seen!
